The Foundation for Working Families is a remarkable non-profit organization that was set up by the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO and its affiliates. Its primary goal is to provide assistance to union families in Washington state in times of hardship or disaster. Over the years, the foundation has helped thousands of families by providing them with cash assistance during natural disasters such as flooding, wildfires, and other extraordinary circumstances.
